S Ravi Shankar Member of ICCA Publication Advisory Board

S. Ravi Shankar an International Arbitration lawyer from India and Senior Partner of Law Senate law Firm based in New Delhi is appointed as a member of the “ICCA Publications Advisory Board” for a period of two years starting from February 2015.

The International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) is a worldwide nongovernmental organization (NGO) devoted to promoting the use and improving the of arbitration, conciliation and other alternative forms of resolving international commercial disputes. ICCA as an NGO is accredited by the United Nations. In that capacity, ICCA has participated actively with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law in the preparation of the UNCITRAL Conciliation Rules, and the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration.

The ICCA NGO consists of Governing Board Members and Members. Governing Board Members are recognized specialists in the field of dispute resolution. At present, there are 39 Governing Board Members and 25 Advisory Members coming from 37 different countries. ICCA operates from Permeant Court of Arbitration, Peace Palace, The Hague, The Nether lands.
